.NET Full Stack Developer
Job Description:POS Systems Knowledge – Practical experience with point-of-sale system architecture, log file structures, store-level configuration management, and UNC path-based store drive access.Back-End & IBM i Proficiency – Strong working knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) environments, IFS navigation, and DB2 SQL query development against ACEDATA and related tables.Front-End Development – Capable of building functional, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks; understands HTML, CSS, and front-end state management.API Design & Integration – Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs; able to integrate with third-party services and internal legacy systems.Technical Troubleshooting – Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex issues across POS, IBM i, and web application layers; comfortable working through ambiguous problems to resolution.Communication & Collaboration – Effectively documents technical processes, communicates findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and shares knowledge across teams.Agile & Self-Directed – Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum delivery models; manages multiple concurrent tasks independently and adapts quickly to shifting priorities.Minimum QualificationsExperience: Minimum 10+ years of full stack development experience, with demonstrated delivery across front-end, back-end, and database layers in a production environment.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Back-End Languages: Proficient in C# (.NET) and/or Python; experience building server-side application logic, APIs, and utility applications in Visual Studio 2022 or later.Front-End: Working proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js); familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.Database Skills: Strong working knowledge of SQL; experience querying IBM i DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server, including multi-table joins, stored procedures, and transaction-level data extraction.POS Systems: Demonstrated experience with point-of-sale system architecture, debug log interpretation, configuration file management, and store-level troubleshooting via UNC path access.IBM i / AS400: Practical familiarity with IBM i IFS navigation, DB2 for i SQL, and store data retrieval workflows; experience with ACEDATA or equivalent IBM i table structures preferred.Tools: Proficiency with WinMerge, Agent Ransack, DBeaver, SQL Server Management Studio, Notepad++, and Windows Task Scheduler; jump server access and administration experience preferred.Source Control: Experience with Git and/or TFS; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document technical processes, write clear API and system documentation, and share knowledge effectively.Preferred:Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containerization (Docker), or PowerShell scripting.Preferred:Background in financial services, retail operations, or multi-store POS environments.
