Quality Support Specialist

We offer a comprehensive range of evidence-based rehabilitative services, including mental health and substance abuse treatment, housing, job placement, care coordination, healthcare, and creative arts therapies. The Bridge operates OMH licensed PROS and Article 31 Outpatient Clinic programs.
Join our dynamic Training, Compliance, and Quality Improvement Team as a Quality Assurance Specialist and play a key role in enhancing community support programs! In this collaborative position, you will audit charts for programs like Intensive Mobile Treatment (IMT) and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory standards. You’ll develop innovative audit tools and apply a person-centered approach to drive continuous improvement in care quality.
Essential Position Functions:
Conduct and document audits for assigned programs.
Complete desk review reports and support the operations of the Incident Review Committee.
Create and revise audit tools for programs assigned.
Work closely with Community Support Program staff to identify areas in need of improvement and collaborate in strategizing on corrective action.
Assist with reports and improvement planning during external audits including but not limited to those conducted by the Office of Mental Health and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
Quality Improvement and Training skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Some familiarity with electronic medical records.
At least one year of direct care experience in behavioral health.
