The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is recruiting outstanding faculty to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at UT Southwestern and Children's Health Dallas.Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.The Division provides comprehensive care through robust inpatient and outpatient programs, offering faculty opportunities to work in a collaborative, academic environment with a broad range of clinical, educational, and research activities.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Inpatient coverage at Children's Health DallasConsultations from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, tertiary-level NICU, and general/subspecialty servicesSupporting one of the largest Cystic Fibrosis Centers in the nationOutpatient clinics in areas such as high-risk asthma, aerodigestive disorders, sickle cell disease, neuromuscular disease, primary ciliary dyskinesia, mechanical ventilation, and general pulmonologyActive participation in a comprehensive sleep program that includes a 24-bed sleep center across two campusesEngagement in the education of residents, fellows, medical students, and nursing staffBoard eligibility or certification in Pediatric PulmonologyEligibility for medical licensure in the state of TexasDemonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and academic achievementAdditional training in Sleep Medicine is available. Interest or training in rare lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, or bronchopulmonary dysplasia is highly desirable.
