Stock Team MemberThe primary responsibility of a Stock Team Member is to assist with freight flow process, backroom organization, salesfloor replenishment, and price changes. This position requires a high level of organization and a sense of urgency.ResponsibilitiesThe Stock Team Member will:Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient mannerAssist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroomAssist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishmentProvide support for driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and support of the Company Handbook during their shiftsTake personal accountability for individual performanceWhen entering the salesfloor, treat co-workers and customers in a respectful and professional manner; support company branding by adhering to dress codeMaintain high commitment and demonstrate support for company initiativesTake initiative during every shift to ensure shipment is processed in an effective and timely mannerReport to work with a professional, positive, can-do attitude at all timesDemonstrate a commitment to Kirkland's Home Vision and Values that support our Be GREAT Selling ModelQualificationsThe Stock Team Member must have:No experience necessary, stock experience preferredEnergetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeedAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to effectively communicate both written and verballyAbility to work weekends, holidays and eveningsAbility to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and ManualsAbility to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store (often early mornings and off hours)Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a regular basisAbility to climb laddersAbility to lift and move bulky merchandise on a regular basisAbility to stoop, bend, climb and lift to stock and retrieve merchandise from stockroom and sales floor on a regular basis
