Global Electrical parts manufacturer is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer - Electrical Engineering PLUS near Austin, Texas area. Responsibilities – Technical Sales Engineer - Electrical Engineering PLUS :Responsible for new and existing business development and conduct commercial negotiations to increase company’s salesResponsible to have an effective communication with customers and understand customer’s needsConduct both internal/ external meetings to avoid any potential program delay or potential issuesCommunicate with purchasing and engineering department online and in personConducts market research and seek any potential targets which can be a future sales expansionProvide technical support as neededTraining customer engineers and production staff on how to use the productsInterface with customers and clients regarding product issues, questions, etc.Responsible for forecasting activities and business planningReport to General Manager of current progress and status of projectsBusiness travel to client sites within territory, as required by projectRequirements – Technical Sales Engineer - Electrical Engineering PLUS :Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 2-5 years of sales engineer experience preferably electrical-related manufacturing industryAble to read and understand the blueprints, technical drawings/ specificationMust be able to travel out-of states up to 75%Proficient Microsoft Office suiteStrong communication, negotiation, presentation skills and time management is MUSTMust have valid driver’s license Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment and minimal supervisionWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, lift in excess of 40 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
