From nursing staffing, temp to hire, and permanent to healthcare contracts, 10bits provides hospitals and medical facilities with high-quality clinical professionals with the highest standards and compliance to provide the best medical care.  Job Title: Material Handler - III Job Location: Holland, MI 49424 Job Type:  Contract - 5 Months Job Duties:  * Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. * Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. * Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. * Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. * Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to production areas. * Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets. Marks materials with identifying information. * Opens bales, crates, and other containers. * Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. * Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. * Uses computer to enter records. * Drives material handling equipment to transport stored items. * Loads and unloads trailers of palletized and non-palletized product. * Utilizes manual and automated material handling equipment. * Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection. * May perform other duties as required. * Contributes to division results and performance. * Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations. Job Requirements:  * High school diploma or equivalent. * 5 to 10 years of relevant warehouse/material handling experience * Must able to communicate effectively to team members and management staff. * Must be able to read information through warehouse computer software. * Must have 5+ years of relevant warehouse/material handling experience. * Must be forklift certified or forklift expert * Inventory or shipping/receiving experience.Inventory or shipping/receiving experience. * Experience with warehouse management systems. * Shipping and receiving experience. * Experience with loading/unloading trailers and palletized products. * Inventory control, picking, stocking, or order fulfillment experience. Schedule: * 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM * Monday - Friday HC01 Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Experience: * relevant warehouse/material handling: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: * forklift certified or forklift expert (Required) Work Location: In person
