Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in industrial equipment and machinery. Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, part replacement, and system adjustments. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Install and assemble new machines and equipment according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with management, supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime. Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED; technical school or certification preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus (preferred). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed. Forklift certification. Multi Equipment operator scissor lift, Boom Lift, Telehandler. (preferred) OSHA 10 or higher (preferred). Must be able to wear a Hazmat Suit and Full-Face Respirator (required). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Working in confined spaces or at heights. Work Environment: Exposure to loud machinery, dust and temperature variations. Safety gear such as gloves, goggles, ear protection, hazmat suit and full-face respirator are always required. Fast-paced manufacturing/production setting. May involve working nights, weekends, and overtime based on demand. Other Duties: Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
