RN or LPN Infection Control/ Staff Development (Must be Certified)

Must be Certified in Infection Control: Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and assisted living facilities. - Assess and monitor patients' health conditions and vital signs. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. - Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of diseases. - Collect and analyze patient data to identify trends and patterns for effective healthcare interventions. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Skills: - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. - Familiarity with epidemiology principles to identify and control the spread of diseases. - Experience in acute care settings, providing care for patients with complex medical conditions. - Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. - Excellent data collection and documentation skills for accurate patient records. - Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. - Competence in using medical equipment for patient monitoring and treatment administration.
