This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering professional with strong expertise in marine mechanical systems, flow analysis, production support, and regulatory compliance.The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of marine engineering projects while collaborating closely with production teams, vendors, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional engineering groups.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the design of marine mechanical systems, machinery installations, piping systems, and related equipmentPerform engineering calculations and flow analysis using Pipe-Flo softwareDevelop sketches, schematics, layouts, and system designs for marine applicationsEnsure compliance with engineering specifications, maritime regulations, and industry standardsCoordinate with production teams to support installation, troubleshooting, and manufacturing processesReview vendor documentation, technical data, and equipment specificationsRespond to and resolve owner comments, regulatory comments, and technical issuesSupport schedule compliance and project execution milestonesProvide technical guidance and engineering support to internal teams and assigned personnelAssist with system functionality reviews, equipment integration, and operational supportRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Marine Engineering, or related disciplineand /OR15+ years of relevant marine/shipbuilding industry experienceMinimum:5+ years of engineering experience and/OR equivalent senior-level marine engineering experienceStrong experience in:Marine mechanical systemsShipbuilding or maritime engineeringMachinery installationProduction support environmentsFlow analysis and piping systemsPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience with Pipe-Flo softwareFamiliarity with:Marine regulationsClassification society standardsProduction and installation processesKnowledge of:Fluid systemsHydraulic systemsPiping systemsHVAC marine systemsExperience supporting defense, naval, offshore, or commercial marine projectsCAD/AutoCAD/SolidWorks experience is a plusDesired CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in team-based engineering environmentsHigh attention to detail and documentation accuracyStrong computer literacy and technical reporting skillsIdeal BackgroundCandidates from the following industries are highly encouraged to apply:ShipbuildingMaritime EngineeringNaval/Defense ProgramsOffshore Oil & GasHeavy Industrial ManufacturingCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageCareer growth opportunities within complex marine engineering programsOpportunity to work on high-impact maritime and shipbuilding projectsApply TodayIf you are a seasoned marine mechanical engineering professional with a passion for shipbuilding, production support, and systems design, we encourage you to apply.
