We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with 8-15 years of structural engineering experience related to Buildings to support our operations in NYC. The incumbent Candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative and creative team on a diverse portfolio of projects.Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.* Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.* Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.* Project Management of staff and clients on large and/or complex projects* Support Studio Leaders in managing staff and financials* Providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff.* Maintaining involvement in professional organizations to keep abreast of new industry developments.QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):* Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.* Master's Degree would be considered an asset.* P.E. license required; S.E. license would be considered an asset.* 8-15 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.* Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.* Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).* Working knowledge of REVIT.* Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.* Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.* High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.* Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.Additional InformationTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $112,000-$140,000 annually for this position and local market.
