This role supports sales and operations by providing technical and estimating assistance, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring orders are accurately configured and processed.The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience-preferably within the HVAC or filtration industry-strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Full product training is provided. This is a hands-on, collaborative position offering competitive compensation and opportunities for growthESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to the duties outlined in the Summary, the following responsibilities are required to meet the minimum expectations of the position. Other duties may be assigned as business needs dictate.Prepare accurate and timely price quotations using the company's automated pricing and estimating systemsInterface directly with customers via phone and email to respond to pricing, product, and order-related inquiriesCommunicate closely with the Production Operations team to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities and lead timesReview customer specifications and requirements to recommend appropriate products and configurationsVerify quotation accuracy, including pricing, quantities, dimensions, lead times, and termsEnter, track, and update quotation and customer data in internal systemsSupport internal sales teams with technical and pricing information as neededMaintain clear and professional written documentation related to quotes, customer communication, and order detailsAssist in resolving customer issues related to pricing discrepancies, order changes, or technical questionsDemonstrate a team-oriented approach while working collaboratively across departmentsParticipate in product training and stay current on product offerings and system updatesComplete special projects and other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree or coursework in business, engineering, HVAC, or a related field preferredExperience:2+ years of customer service, estimating, or technical support experiencePrior experience in HVAC, filtration, manufacturing, or a related technical industry strongly preferredSkills & Abilities:Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFriendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanorAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWorking familiarity with Microsoft Word and ExcelComfortable learning and using automated pricing and ERP systemsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAbility to effectively communicate technical information to customers and internal teamsTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when requiredWORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments.
