Construction Materials Tester

We're looking for a full-time Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician to join the Clovis, CA team.This position is ideal for candidates interested in advancing their career in the Geotechnical and Construction Material Testing Field.Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing and analyzing samples of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materialsPrepare test reports and maintain accurate documentationOperate mechanical equipment such as concrete compression testing machine, soil compaction equipment, and aggregate mechanical sieving equipmentClean, maintain, and assemble laboratory equipmentTrack equipment usage and maintenanceLoad/unload samples and verify received quantitiesQualifications:ACI Concrete Testing Technician certification - (or ability to obtain)NICET CMT Certification - (or ability to obtain)Caltrans Lab testing certification - (preferred)AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) - (preferred)Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) - (preferred)Experience with field or laboratory testing of concrete, aggregates, soils, asphalt, and other construction materialsStrong math skillsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and manage a physically demanding workloadExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam-oriented, self-motivated, receptive to directionComfortable working in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, and noise)Benefits & Perks:Comprehensive Benefits – Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance401(k) Profit sharingPaid vacation and holidaysCareer development & mentorship opportunitiesPrior lab Testing or construction materials testing experience is not required.
