Senior Salesforce Developer

About the opportunityU.S-based company looking for a senior Salesforce developer to take ownership of a mature, business-critical Salesforce environment. The platform is already in production and used daily across operations, service, and customer-facing teams.This is a senior individual contributor role with significant scope. You will partner directly with the Head of Software & Data and the Director of Product working inside a small, senior technology team where engineers own their work end-to-end.What you will be doingDesigning, building, and maintaining Field Service Lightning workflows across scheduling, dispatch, mobile field operations, and asset management.Leading Apex and Lightning Web Component development against a live production Salesforce org.Owning the technical direction on integrations between Salesforce and adjacent business systems.Driving code quality through reviews, technical standards, and CI/CD pipeline ownership using GitHub Actions.Partnering with product and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions.Identifying technical debt, proposing remediation paths, and executing them.Required experience7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with current hands-on delivery.Production experience with Field Service Lightning, including configuration, customization, scheduling logic, and mobile workflows.Strong Apex and Lightning Web Components capability, with a track record of delivering complex, performant code in production environments.Salesforce integration experience using REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, or middleware.Experience with source control and DevOps practices on Salesforce, including branching strategies and automated deployments.Fluent professional English, both written and spoken, with the ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders.A genuinely self-directed working style. You understand the operational context behind the features you build and can challenge requirements where it adds value.Preferred experienceProduction experience with Salesforce Automotive Cloud.Industries Cloud or Vlocity background.Domain knowledge of automotive, dealership, or service-based operations, including Dealer Management System integrations.MuleSoft or equivalent integration middleware.Salesforce DevOps tooling such as Gearset or Flex Deploy.Experience designing disaster recovery and resilience strategies for production Salesforce environments.Microsoft Azure exposure for storage and adjacent infrastructure services.Familiarity with vulnerability scanning practices on Salesforce codebases (CodeQL, Dependabot).
