As a Full Stack Web Developer at Espy, you will be responsible for creating systems that provide critical signals intelligence, enhancing and maintaining a NodeJS/React software stack, and designing web applications for complex signal visualization.Responsibilities:• Design, implement, and test JavaScript/TypeScript software in a Node.js/React framework• Coordinate with engineering team, field support team, and customers to design and prioritize new features and bug fixes• Hands-on testing and deployment support for world-wide customers• Stay current of industry advances and professional education, embrace the emergence of new technologies.• Work independently with sound professional judgement to overcome obstacles and complete tasks on time by leveraging collaboration, delegation, and leadership skills.Qualifications:Required:• Thorough understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Mongo• Passion for creating intuitive, elegant, and attractive user interfaces in the web• Familiar with software development using Linux and Docker• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with teams to design effective user interfaces• Eagerness to learn and rapidly apply new skills• Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to clearly present information through the spoken and written word with all levels of an organization.• Planning and Organization Skills: Demonstrated ability to organize or schedule activities and tasks, while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability.• Teamwork Skills: Demonstrated ability to work with people in such a manner as to achieve common goals, objectives, and group commitments.• Decision Making and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability in solving problems while exhibiting judgments and a realistic understanding of issues.Preferred:• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical area: (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)• Experience/passion for functional styles• Experience with WebGL• Experience with software management tools (git, JIRA)• Familiarity with C++• Familiarity with RabbitMQ• Familiarity with Machine Learning/Computer Vision• Willingness to travel 2-3 times per year• Consideration for TS/SCI security clearanceCompany:Dover is a diversified global manufacturer and solutions provider with annual revenue of over $7 billion.
