Instructor or open rank faculty position for the Sheetz Fellows ProgramPenn State Altoona is seeking an Instructor or open rank faculty position for the Sheetz Fellows Program. The Sheetz Fellows Program was developed to provide unique opportunities that ignite and inspire top-quality students from Penn State Altoona to become future leaders by fostering entrepreneurial thinking, ingenuity, and problem-solving skills. This Instructor is part of a team of professionals that develops and delivers education programs by focusing on infusing engaged learning and career-development opportunities and fostering a culture of creativity, community, and innovation.The hire is expected to be on campus daily to meet students' needs and to engage with the campus community. Full university benefits apply.Responsibilities and Teaching LoadTeaching and assessing student coursework for up to three undergraduate courses in Sheetz Fellows Program each semester, guiding students through a diverse range of ideas, materials, and processes to promote both creative and intellectual growthProviding mentorship and evaluation for students, supporting student professional development within the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadershipCultivating a supportive learning environment that allows students to think critically and gain valuable real-world experience while incorporating leadership and personal development skills into the curriculumCommunicating effectively, both verbal and written, in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner with students, faculty, staff, and community membersCollaborating in creating and enforcing policies and procedures related to Sheetz Fellows Program and student activities within the ProgramAssisting Senior Director of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership in administrative duties of the Sheetz Fellows ProgramEducation and Experience:The minimum requirement is a master's degree plus proven business/industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.To be considered for the position, apply online at .
