Mentorship and professional development training are a focus throughout your entire career.ResponsibilitiesWorks in conjunction with the stores & the campus in VISA leadershipCollaborate with the E-Commerce, Marketing, Point of Sale & Digital teams, as well as FNBO, to coordinate SCHEELS VISA campaignsDevelop a thorough understanding of the program and its impact in stores and on Campus Establish acquisition goals, break them down into actionable store-level targets, and communicate progress while providing coaching and performance feedbackEducate store teams on promotional benefits and display information for customer awarenessTravel to Scheels locations for store visits and new store setupsMaintain compliance with First National Bank and SCHEELS Campus regulations and standards set forth for the SCHEELS’ VISA programMaintain a high standard of confidentiality and respect for privacy when working with customers who are applying for the SCHEELS VISAMaintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areasAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external groups of leaders, clients, customers, and the general publicAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formProficient in computer programs such as Google Suite and ExcelDemonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with the ability to follow up on the smallest detailsAbility to quickly read reports and make sound Scheels business decisionsDeep understanding of the AS400 system, as well as Microsoft Excel and GmailStrong initiative and vision for continuous improvementAbility to work independently and with the teamAbility to travel approximately 30+/- nights of travel each year. This includes store visits, new store setups, and some additional travel based on need. PLEASE understand this is a BIG commitment to both the applicant and their family. Travel is not for everyone's situation. We strongly caution anyone who thinks this is a 7-5 Monday through Friday job; it is NOT. Assistant Store Leader experience is, for the most part, a requirement. However strong, long term, (associates) will also be considered if they fit the rest of the requirements.Physical Requirements/Lifting RequirementsMust be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
