Financial Controller / ManufacturingA prominent manufacturing firm in the region is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who enjoys being a true partner to operations and leadership. This role sits at the heart of the organization and plays a key role in shaping financial strategy, improving processes, and helping leadership make smart, data-driven decisions. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll own the full accounting function while leading a small team and helping drive financial visibility, forecasting, and risk management across the organization. This role has strong visibility and impact across the organization and will be a key partner to leadership in driving financial performance.What You’ll Be DoingThis role blends leadership, financial strategy, and day-to-day accounting oversight. You’ll take ownership of the general ledger, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting while partnering closely with operations and leadership.The Role Will Focus Heavily OnOwning the full month-end and year-end close process, financial reporting, and audit preparationManaging budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to help guide business decisionsOverseeing cash flow, invoicing, payroll reporting, and credit/collections processesProviding oversight of capital expenditures and helping prioritize investmentsLeading A/R and A/P functions and ensuring strong internal controls and complianceSupporting risk management initiatives and strengthening financial processesPreparing weekly, monthly, and annual reporting for leadershipManaging and mentoring a team of 3-4 accountantsWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re searching for a Controller who combines strong technical accounting skills with leadership and business partnership.Core BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years of progressive accounting experienceManufacturing accounting experience is requiredStrong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, depreciation, and internal controlsExperience leading and developing accounting teamsComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environmentHighly ValuedCPA certificationExperience with risk management and audit preparationWhat Makes This Role ExcitingThis is a high-impact leadership position where you’ll help shape the financial future of the organization.
