Structured Cable Technician Supervisor - Weekend
Elite Executive Partners is looking for an experienced Structured Cabling Technician Supervisor for a fast-growing client to lead and support the cabling production team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating workflow, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate has strong structured cabling experience, leadership abilities, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
Structured Cabling Technician Supervisor
Location Brandon, SD
Full-Time
Weekend position: Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm
Temperature controlled facility year round

Essential functions:
Supervise Structured Cabling Technician I, II, and III team members
Assign and coordinate daily production tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards
Train, mentor, and support technicians in skill development and advancement
Ensure all work is completed according to company quality and safety standards
Troubleshoot cabling systems and resolve installation issues
Conduct employee performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback
Assist with hiring, disciplinary actions, and employee development
Coordinate crew schedules with the Plant Manager
Work closely with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure materials are available and accurate
Monitor proper material usage and inventory tracking
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Collaborate with other departments to support production goals
Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of telecom or structured cabling installation experience
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and installation practices
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Basic computer skills
Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and soldering equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to climb ladders regularly
Ability to bend, crouch, twist, and lift materials
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm
Occasional travel may be required
