Seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to develop and maintain functional and secure networks.
Excellent problem-solving skills, a thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture, and security and data protection.
Individual will work closely with customers to establish network requirements that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
Monitor network performance and integrity
Troubleshoot cloud and local infrastructure
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Configure, deploy, and Troubleshoot issues on Cisco Switches, Router, Firewalls, APs, etc.
Mentor team members on technical issues
Create, oversee and test security measures
Configure Security policies including NAT, PAT, VPN, Route-maps, and Access Control Lists.
Utilize access authentication and disaster recovery
Produce and maintain complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
Ensure the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise voice communications network. Including the installation, maintenance, and management of all voice equipment such as voice servers, gateways, PBX switches, phones, circuits, wiring, servers, backup systems, voice network management and diagnostic tools, etc.
Plan and implement enterprise unified communications-based projects.
Partner with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on VoIP implementation, optimization, security and ongoing management.
Provide direction, recommendations, design, and implementation for enhancements.
Observe the design, programming, and application standards as setup by the company. Including compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Implement traffic filters using Standard and Extended access-lists, Distribute-lists, and Route Maps.
Safeguard performance, capacity, availability, and quality of the voice environment monitoring for emerging incidents and initiate preventative action.
Mentoring and training of select end-users and client IT Admins
Required Qualifications:
Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
CCNP & CCNA required; prefer CCNA VoIP, CCNA Security, CCDP, MCSE, UCCXD, Meraki ECMS1; or must be able to obtain.
Solid background in network administration and architecture
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc...)
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. Auvik & SolarWinds network tools)
Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
Sharp troubleshooting skills and Customer-Centric approach.
Ability to work independently
Organizational and mentoring skills
Must also be qualified at all levels of LAN, WAN, Voice, and Security technologies.
5+ years experience working directly with customer and client technical teams
5+ years working with Voice technologies.

Knowledge of QOS policies across an Enterprise for Data, Voice, and Video solutions
Experience managing, supporting, and deploying network infrastructures
Experience Installing, Configuring, and troubleshooting voice infrastructure, including the CUCM, CUC, Cisco IM & Presence, UCCX Express, CTI, QM Administration, Calabrio WFO call monitoring and Quality Management, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Agent Desktop / Supervisor, Finesse, CIPC and Jabber
Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment
Experience with Disaster Recovery plans and related technologies
Experience on Cisco CUCM 7.X -12.X, Unity connection 7.X-12.X, Cisco UCCX 7.X-12. X
Experience with voice protocols like SCCP, H.323, MGCP, SIP, SRST and SIP Trunks.
Administration of Cisco UCS B min and UCS C220 and C240 rack server.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Reliable transportation available as needed to reach client sites

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
