South Dakota Data Modernization Advisor

A company is looking for a Data Modernization Senior Advisor. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership and Tribal Public Health Authorities to assess data needs and strengthen the Winter Count data ecosystem Lead the development and implementation of a long-term data modernization strategy for GPTEC Provide strategic guidance on the development and expansion of the Winter Count data hub and Electronic Disease Surveillance System (EDSS) Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public health, computer information systems, health informatics, epidemiology, or related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in technical data strategies and infrastructure development Experience with modern public health data ecosystems, surveillance systems, or analytics platforms Knowledge of modern data architectures and data governance principles Experience working with public health agencies or Tribal organizations
