CNC Programmer/Machinist

OverviewA growing, highly advanced precision manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to support complex machining operations on horizontal milling platforms. This organization specializes in tight-tolerance components for highly regulated industries including aerospace, defense, and advanced technology sectors.This is an opportunity to work in a clean, climate-controlled facility with cutting-edge equipment, strong internal culture, and long-term career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate horizontal CNC milling centers (3-axis)Perform at-the-machine programming (control-level) and prove-outExecute full setup including tooling, offsets, and workholdingRun first-piece inspections and maintain tight tolerance requirementsConduct in-process quality checks to ensure part conformanceCollaborate with engineering, production, and leadership to troubleshoot issuesMaintain clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standardsAccurately track job time and production performanceRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in CNC setup and control-level programmingStrong experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controlsProven ability to program, set up, and run horizontal CNC milling machinesSolid understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretationExperience performing in-process and final quality inspectionsFamiliarity with material handling equipment and overhead cranesPreferred QualificationsExperience with MastercamBackground in tight-tolerance, high-precision machining environmentsExposure to aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries (AS9100 / ISO environments)Shift: Night Shift | Monday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 4:00 AM Compensation & Benefits$35 – $42/hour based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, Dental, VisionLife & Disability Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off + Paid HolidaysUniiited is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
