Your work will directly influence productivity, quality, and our ability to meet growing customer demand.You’ll partner with experienced engineers and manufacturing leaders in Tallahassee, Florida, gaining real-world exposure to process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.This is an opportunity to turn academic knowledge into practical impact—helping shape smarter workflows, safer workplaces, and stronger operational performance.What You’ll Be DoingAnalyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that reduce waste and improve flowDevelop value stream maps for current and future states to support data-driven decision-makingSupport process balancing and cell design to improve productivity and adapt to changing customer demandConduct time studies and process evaluations to enhance operator efficiency and workplace organizationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives including 5S implementation, documentation, and quality complianceWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, or process improvement conceptsAbility to analyze data and solve problems in a structured and practical wayComfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analysis and reportingStrong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat You'll Get From UsAt Danfoss, you’ll gain meaningful, hands-on experience working on real-world manufacturing challenges alongside a supportive and collaborative team.
