Through our Give Back program, we own our commitment to Social Responsibility and live our purpose of Packaging a Better Future.ResponsibilitiesThis position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.Job Duties:Complete daily Standard Work Assignments and sheetsSupport work station functions and workflow by:Ensuring that packers are supplied with necessary water, poly bags, tape, boxes and other supplies to complete their assigned responsibilitiesReplenishing and organizing of Point of Use Shelves (POUS)Removing finished good pallets from work stations in a timely manner, paying attention to proper stacking pattern and load stabilityProviding pallets, Work in Progress (WIP) and scrap Gaylords that are in good condition, as neededSupporting changeoversProcess finished good pallets to support SAP inventory procedures to include:Shrink wrappingLabeling palletsMaintaining SAP inventory sheet labelsPlacing products into TEMP inventory locationsMoving inventory from TEMP location to designated warehouse locationEnsure incoming shift has adequate supplies available to maintain workflow without disruptionUphold the warehouse standards by maintaining items in their designated areas, including but not limited to trash, pallets, fork lift trucks, pallet jacks, boxes and finished productsMaintain cleanliness of work areas by:Sweeping, dusting and removing the trashRemove pallets of waste corrugate and place on designated trailerEmpty full trash cans and operate trash compactorDispose of hazardous waste materials in designated locationsAssist in maintenance of shared areas such as bathrooms and break roomsPerform grinding, venting and laser engraving responsibilities as assigned Knowledge of ability to perform all job requirements of Packer position, relieve Packers for breaks and fill in for Packers, as assignedCommunicate any product, packaging or palletizing quality concerns to the first available QC, Technician, Supervisor or Manager within a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsQualifications:Six months manufacturing or shipping experience preferredAbility to accurately count, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions & decimalsStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to read & interpret documents, i.e safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, & procedure manualPossess a positive professional attitudePactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex. The plant was built in 1993 and has been owned by Pactiv since 1999. In 2017, the Moorhead Pactiv plant received the Pactiv Environmental Facility of the Year award.The plant is a 24/7 operation with about 140 employees. The building is approximately 150,000 square feet and produces molded fiber products.
