Head Chef – Daytime Café & Catering Operation (City of London)NO Visa Sponsorship is offered for this roleAll candidates must currently living in London Salary: £50000 - £52000 (including service)- Achievable bonuses - Profit share on the events businessOTE up to £70000We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a well-established café/restaurant located in the heart of the City. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef looking for a predominantly daytime role, while still being involved in a dynamic and growing catering operation.The Role- Overseeing the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen- Managing rotas, stock control, and food costings- Leading menu development and implementation- Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and service- Supporting a thriving catering arm, including internal and external events- Contributing to events such as private dinners and small weddingsWorking Pattern- Monday to Friday, daytime café service- Additional involvement in weekend catering operations (as required)The Ideal Candidate- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role- Background in catering or events-based food service is highly desirable- Experience with private events, small weddings, and bespoke dining- Strong organisational and leadership skills- Confident managing all aspects of kitchen operations- Reliable, hands-on, and solutions-focused- A positive attitude with no ego – a true team playerThis is a rare opportunity to join a respected venue offering work-life balance during the week, combined with the excitement of high-quality catering and events.If you are passionate about food, leadership, and delivering exceptional experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
