Job Title Cloud EngineerLocation Remote/HybridTrace Systems is seeking an experienced, cleared Cloud Engineer to provide design, engineering, and operational support to multiple cloud based environments in support of ELITE AFRICOM Hybrid based in Vienna, VA or Tampa, FL.Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited toAnalyze services to determine viability to migrate to the cloud and develop roadmaps for executionMigrate, maintain, and support Cloud computing environments and continuously create improvements to enhance the durability, performance, and maintainabilityArchitect solutions to meet mission and IT requirements, ensuring technical viability of new solutions and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and key Infrastructure technologies, and leveraging Application Development and DevOps technologies as appropriatePerform as a subject matter expert (SME) for Cloud, Cloud enterprise system administration for new IT or software concepts, Active Directory, Storage Area Network appliance, Directory Service replication, Authentication services, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Group Policy troubleshooting and Public Key Infrastructure; server virtualization technologies; server monitoring tools; as well as other related classes of on-prem and Cloud technology such as storage and clustering, data protection, and application platformsDevelop and support Cloud identities, synchronization of identities to multiple Cloud providers, and administration and management of Cloud identities and licensesAnalyze Cloud security requirements to determine if proposed and/or designed security solution(s) meet DoD Cloud security requirements considering information impact levels (ILs) and Cloud computing service models to include SaaS, IaaS, and PaaSActive, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance. Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.Five (5) years of recent specialized experienceExtensive experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 or AWS or Google Cloud ServicesExperience in systems infrastructure design, support, and administrationExperience working in a hybrid environmentAzure AD, storage, and compute including Application Proxy (NDES), Storage Account, Virtual Machines, Virtual Desktop, Backup, Automation, and FunctionsAzure identity management including SSO (SAML), OAuth, MFA, RBAC, PIM, conditional access, monitoring / alerting, device registration, identity protection, and hybrid identity management / AD connectAzure networking including ExpressRoute, VNet, Virtual WAN, VPN, NSG, Load Balancer, BGP, routing, and firewall concepts (Palo Alto, etc.)DoD 8570 IAT-II certification (Security+)Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator OR Microsoft Certified Azure DeveloperDoD 8570 IAT-III certification (CISSP, CASP+, CISM)Bachelors degree + 5 years of specialized experience, ORAssociates degree + 7 years specialized experience, ORRequired cert + 9 years specialized experience in lieu of degree, OR11 total years of specialized experience in lieu of a degree.Trace Systems Inc. was founded to support and defend our nation's security interests at home and abroad–– whenever and wherever.
