Sawyer General Job Description To manufacture green hardwood lumber from logs using state of the art carriages and scanning equipment. Determine optimum opening face to maximize value and fulfill cutting order and production requirements. Ensure the quality of the lumber is held to our company standards. Sawyer Requirements: Ability to determine and execute the optimum cutting pattern for breaking down logs To perform minor maintenance (change saw blades, lubricate equipment, broken chain, broken hoses, crossed up lumber, or jam ups).
