We cover all travel expenses for qualifying roles, so all you need to bring is your talent and a great attitude.Job Summary:The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing, directing, and actively supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations. Moving away from a traditional desk-based administrative role, this is a highly visible, hands-on position designed for a leader who thrives on the floor. You will directly drive the daily "turning of the house," perform rigorous quality inspections, conduct closet audits, and assist with inventory controls. This role ensures that premium property environments meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and readiness while managing floor logistics, laundry workflows, and team productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support & House Turning: Actively lead and support daily floor operations to ensure all guest rooms and accommodations are turned over efficiently, maintaining standard times for daily check-ins.Quality Control & Room Inspections: Perform rigorous daily inspections of guest rooms, VIP arrivals, and public spaces to guarantee they meet strict brand and premium quality standards.Housekeeping Closet Audits: Conduct regular audits of housekeeping closets across properties to ensure they are fully stocked, organized, clean, and compliant with safety guidelines.Laundry Operations Oversight: Supervise and optimize high-volume, in-house laundry operations , ensuring proper linen processing, stain treatment, and efficient workflow.Staff Leadership & Support: Supervise, coach, and mentor housekeeping leads and attendants, including daily task delegation, morning huddles, and real-time performance feedback.Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing supply inventories (linens, guest amenities, and cleaning chemicals) as needed to support the department head.Property Navigation: Actively walk, monitor, and manage expansive property layouts, comfortably navigating various outdoor pathways and multi-level building architectures (including structures with staircases only).Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict records of housekeeping activities, staff hours, and incident reports while ensuring full compliance with sanitation regulations and safety protocols.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 2-4 years of proven supervisory or management experience within the Housekeeping department, preferably with exposure to 4-star hotel properties or premium resorts.Laundry Expertise: Strong, practical experience working with or overseeing high-volume, in-house laundry operations is highly preferred and considered a major benefit.Physical Stamina: Must be able to walk long distances across expansive resort properties, climb stairs frequently, and navigate multi-level buildings without elevators throughout the shift.Leadership Style: A "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach with a passion for mentoring and supporting room attendants and housepersons directly on the floor.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead diverse, multicultural teams across various locations.
