🏗️ Superintendent | Ground-Up K-12 | Travel Role$110,000 – $130,000 base salary aligned with experience, plus vehicle allowance, per diem, and full travel benefitsBlayze Group is partnering with a commercial general contractor to appoint a Superintendent to support a pipeline of ground-up K-12 projects across West Texas.This is a travelling role, suited to Superintendents who are comfortable working away from home for the duration of projects, with all travel expenses and benefits fully covered.The Role• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through completion on ground-up K-12 projects• Deliver school builds including large-scale campuses, additions, and education facilities• Travel from a Dallas base to projects across West Texas, remaining on-site for full project lifecycle• Manage subcontractors across all trades and drive daily site operations• Maintain look-ahead schedules and enforce sequencing to meet programme milestones• Coordinate with Project Management on manpower, materials, and procurement• Oversee safety, QA/QC, and compliance with school district and municipal standards• Maintain reporting, track progress, and resolve site issues proactively• Build strong relationships with school districts, inspectors, and subcontractorsBackground Sought• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up K-12 or institutional projects• Experience delivering school builds, campus developments, or bond programme work• Willingness to travel and remain on-site for project duration• Track record of running projects start to finish, not supporting roles• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination• Stable work history, ideally 3+ years per company• Ability to operate independently and take full ownership of site deliveryWhy This OpportunityThis is a well-established general contractor with a strong pipeline of K-12 work across Texas, supported by repeat business and long-term school district relationships.The business offers:• Full travel package including per diem, accommodation, and vehicle allowance• Consistent project pipeline across West Texas• High level of autonomy for Superintendents to lead projects end-to-end• Long-term stability with repeat clients and secured workApplyIf you have ground-up K-12 experience, a stable background with commercial GCs, and are open to a travelling role, please submit your resume and project list for consideration.
