The Material Handler supports production by safely transporting parts and materials throughout the facility and assisting in proper waste disposal. This role ensures smooth material flow to maintain efficient production operations.
*Essential Duties*
* Operate industrial forklifts to move materials safely.
* Manually handle parts and supply production lines at a fast pace.
* Participate in routing, counting, and inspecting items; load/unload trucks.
* Scan items for inventory tracking.
* Follow all safety rules and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
*Requirements*
* High school diploma or GED.
* Forklift experience and manufacturing environment experience preferred.
* Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers).
* Experience using RF scanners.
* Knowledge of safety practices.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
