SharePoint Developer – SeniorPosition / LCAT: SharePoint Developer Level: Senior Lead Designation: N/A Location: Fort Belvoir, VARole SummaryProvides SharePoint development support including customized code, creating and modifying web parts, and creating and modifying SharePoint workflows. Develops and tests applications within a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment, mentors junior personnel, and documents software defects using a bug tracking system. Adheres to Software Development Life Cycle processes including SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, and Lean methodologies.ResponsibilitiesProvide SharePoint development support, including customized code and creating/modifying web parts and SharePoint workflowsDevelop and test applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQueryPerform software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and other development testingAdhere to Software Development Life Cycle processes including SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, and Lean methodologiesMentor junior personnel on proper practices and proceduresDocument software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers and project managersCollaborate with peers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure SharePoint solutions meet customer requirementsSupport development, testing, and deployment of SharePoint applications across supported networksRequired QualificationsEight years of experience in SharePoint Development (including customized code, and creating/modifying web parts, creating/modifying SharePoint workflows)Five years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (may include SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean, etc.)Five years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and proceduresFive years of experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers and project managersFive years of experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experienceFive years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQueryTS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearanceDoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certificationPreferred QualificationsExperience developing SharePoint solutions in a DoD or IC environmentExperience with Microsoft .NET Framework and IIS for Windows ServerNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
