Our products include Engine Oil Pumps, Transmission Oil Pumps, Vacuum Pumps, Water Pumps, Tandem Pumps, Electric Driveline, Front Cover Module, and more.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site HR Generalist role located in Warren, MI. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to multiple aspects of human resources within the automotive manufacturing industry including responsibilities in talent acquisition and recruitment, training and development, compliance, onboarding, benefits and employee engagement. This position requires a good understanding of HR practices, and excellent interpersonal skills.Qualifications1 – 5 years HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of employment laws and regulationsExperience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance managementStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionallyBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fieldHR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plusEssential Functions: · Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and interview coordination.· Perform accurate data entry in the HRIS and timekeeping system to ensure up-to-date employee records and payroll processing.· Assist in the payroll process by verifying employee hours, processing payroll data and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.· Conduct new hire orientations covering company culture, policies, benefits and job expectations.· Supports training & development · Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.· Supports annual open enrollment benefits process.· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Interested candidates may contact me directly at kwaynick@slpt.com.
