This role plays a critical part in creating a positive candidate and new-hire experience while ensuring HR processes are accurate, timely, and compliant.This position is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to gain real, hands-on experience, expand your skills, and grow your career in a supportive environment. You will work with an experienced and friendly HR team who will value you and invest in your development.This position is eligible to work remotely one day per week after training is completed.What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll serve as a key operational partner within HR — helping ensure our recruiting, onboarding, and employee processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies.Talent Acquisition SupportCoordinate and administer the end-to-end recruiting process from requisition through offer stagePartner with hiring managers to ensure job postings, candidate communications, and interview scheduling are handled promptly and professionallyManage candidate workflow in the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate documentation and complianceAssist with candidate sourcing efforts using job boards, social platforms, and internal toolsPrepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment processes including background checks and new hire documentationTrack recruiting activity and maintain basic hiring metrics to support workforce planningOnboarding & Employee ExperienceLead and coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employeeFacilitate new hire orientation sessions and serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable point of contactEnsure all required documentation, system setup, and compliance requirements are completed timely and accuratelyConduct structured new hire follow-ups to support engagement and early retentionContinuously evaluate onboarding processes and recommend improvements to enhance the employee experienceBenefits & Leave Administration SupportAssist employees with benefits enrollment and general benefits-related questionsSupport annual open enrollment planning and communication effortsCoordinate documentation and tracking for leave programs including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and ADA accommodationsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsEmployee Transitions & OffboardingCoordinate offboarding activities including final documentation, system updates, and benefit communicationsConduct exit interviews and assist in tracking trends or feedback themesEnsure departing employees receive accurate information regarding final pay, COBRA, and retirement benefitsHR Operations & ComplianceMaintain accurate employee data within HRIS systemsAssist with HR reporting and audits as neededRespond to routine employee inquiries in a timely, professional mannerSupport policy communication and adherence across the organizationHelp identify process improvement opportunities within HR operationsCulture & Engagement SupportAssist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition efforts, and company eventsContribute to creating a positive, responsive HR presence throughout the organization__________________________What We’re Looking For1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProfessional, friendly, and service-oriented communication styleAbility to handle confidential information with discretionComfortable working in HR systems (UKG experience a plus) and Microsoft OfficeSelf-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefits & PerksMedical, dental, and vision insurance (including free preventive care, wellness, and mental health programs.)401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disabilityFlexible Spending Accounts (health care and dependent care)Generous paid time offPaid holidays (7.5 days annually)Opportunities for training and professional development
