Quality Inspector I

Location: MW Components – Greer: Springs Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Benefits: Full Benefits Package Type: Full Time Department: Operations Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of coil springs using various measuring instruments to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish. Monitor production process to identify and prevent defects or non-conformities Accurately document inspection results, including any defects or deviations from specifications. Capture data from all phases of manufacturing, including raw material inspection, in-process inspection, and final product inspection. Compile inspection data for transmittal to customers or relevant departments. Investigate the root cause of quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in training programs to stay updated on quality standards and inspection techniques. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in quality inspections, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques Proficiency in using measuring instruments. Excellent math skills, including the ability to understand fractions, decimals, and reading other measurement tools.
