Title: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Location: Fully Remote (U.S.) - Ideally Eastern/ Central time zone Company Summary: We recently partnered with a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization within the Safety space looking to add a Director of FP&A to their growing team. Backed by experienced investors, the business is in an active growth phase, with leadership committed to building best-in-class finance processes, systems, and reporting to support long-term strategic objectives. The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, performance management, and executive decision support. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders, providing rigorous analysis, forward-looking insights, and scalable financial infrastructure to support growth, profitability, and cash generation. The ideal candidate brings meaningful experience in PE-backed operating environments, strong leadership capability, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Director of FP&A Key ResponsibilitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with strategic and private equity objectives.Deliver KPI reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights across business units and acquisitions.Prepare executive, Board, and investor reporting; partner closely with the CFO on financial strategy.Build and scale FP&A systems, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure (ERP/BI).Partner with operational leaders to drive margin improvement, pricing, working capital, and ROI analysis.Own liquidity management, including 13-week cash flow forecasting and lender reporting.Support M&A activity, including diligence, modeling, integration planning, and post-close performance tracking. Director of FP&A Qualifications8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Corporate FinancePrior experience working in private equity-backed companies strongly preferredProven experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting to Boards and investorsExceptional communication skills and executive presenceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
