Maintenance Program Engineer

Overview In this role you will support the sustainable maintenance program across QTS sites, coordinating with site teams to standardize processes, data, and reporting. You’ll help build the initial CMMS environment for new builds and site startups, and share lessons learned to lift performance. You will ensure accurate data and transparent turnover for greenfield sites and upgrades, enabling leadership and customers to see a unified view of operations. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a strong emphasis on data integrity and continuous improvement. ResponsibilitiesAudit and correct CMMS data including naming conventions, ratings, specifications, relationships, and milestone datesAssist site teams with asset onboarding, CMMS setup, and configuration-item mapping for SDP effortsCoordinate with CMMS success team on feedback for upgradesGenerate and manage maintenance schedulesShare best practices and lessons learned across the FacOps portfolioMaintain project tracking and reporting for site turnover requirementsCapture and standardize turnover requirements for greenfield sites, expansions, and major infrastructure upgradesSupport the Operational Excellence program through assessmentsTravel to QTS sites as needed for program updates Key requirementsThree or more years of professional experience in data center, mission-critical environment, or maintenance roleAbility to travel up to 50%Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or similar disciplineExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong interpersonal skills across all levelsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilitiesExperience with CMMS platforms (ServiceNow, Smartsheet, other CMMS)Data integrity and database managementAsset onboarding and configuration-item mapping
