Job Title: Technical Project ManagerSalary: 120-150K + 15% bonus Location: DMV area possible remote Product Strategy & Portfolio OwnershipDefine and execute product roadmap for:Structured cabling infrastructure (copper & fiber)Fault managed power solutions (Class 4 power)Low-voltage lighting systemsEvaluate emerging technologies and align offerings with market demand and customer verticals (Data Center, Enterprise, Healthcare, Education, Federal, etc.)Develop go-to-market strategies for new infrastructure solutionsManufacturer & Vendor ManagementManage strategic relationships with:BeldenLevitonCommScopeCorningAnd othersNegotiate product positioning, certifications, rebates, and partner program tiersLead technical alignment meetings with manufacturersCoordinate product training and technical certificationsTechnical LeadershipProvide subject matter expertise in:Structured cabling design (Cat6A, Cat8, fiber backbone, OSP, etc.)Fiber optic infrastructure (single-mode, multi-mode, termination, testing)Fault Managed Power (Class 4 systems)Low-voltage lighting distributionSupport pre-sales engineering with solution design, BOM validation, and standards complianceEnsure solutions meet BICSI, NEC, and industry standardsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales to develop solution messaging and competitive positioningWork with Operations to standardize materials and optimize procurementSupport Marketing with technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studiesAssist Estimating team with product standards and pricing guidanceLifecycle & Performance ManagementTrack product performance, margins, and adoption ratesConduct competitive analysis and vendor benchmarkingIdentify opportunities for cost optimization and differentiationQualifications7+ years of experience in low-voltage infrastructure, structured cabling, or systems integrationDirect experience working with manufacturers such as:BeldenCommScopeCorningPreference with experience in:Copper and fiber structured cabling systemsFault Managed Power (Class 4 preferred)Low-voltage lighting systemsExperience supporting design-build or large-scale infrastructure projectsUnderstanding of NEC, TIA/EIA standards, and BICSI best practicesProven ability to work cross-functionally in a technical environmentPreferred QualificationsRCDD or equivalent certificationExperience in data center or large enterprise environmentsExposure to smart building systems and integrated infrastructure
