Our team is committed to delivering thoughtful, elevated hospitality rooted in warmth, knowledge, and genuine connection.We are building a reliable team of experienced Event Staff to support private events, banquets, and special functions at Vessel. This role is ideal for seasoned hospitality professionals who are confident in both banquet‑style service and bartending.What You’ll DoProvide polished banquet‑style service, including tray passing, table service, and event flow supportBartend confidently and responsibly, following all service standards and alcohol safety guidelinesGreet guests warmly and maintain an upbeat, positive presence throughout serviceSet up event spaces and bar stations, including prepping product and ensuring readiness for expected coversOffer full service to guests at the bar when appropriate, incorporating established Vessel service standardsCommunicate clearly with barbacks and support staff regarding expectations and shift needsMaintain rotation of clean, polished glassware and ensure all service items are stockedHandle cash and close guest tabs accuratelyKeep all service areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready at all timesFollow proper product rotation, quality‑checking day‑old prep before useComplete cleaning duties during downtime and ensure restocking before clocking outPerform all closing duties thoroughly at the end of each shiftSupport the team with additional tasks to ensure seamless event executionWhat We’re Looking ForBanquet service experience requiredBartending experience required (1-3 years in an upscale setting preferred)Strong knowledge of classic and current food & beverage trendsExcellent communication skills and a polished, professional demeanorAbility to multitask in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environmentTeam‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethicDependability and comfort working flexible/on‑call shiftsPassion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiencesPart timeWorking ConditionsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for 8–10 hours per shiftAgility to navigate fast‑paced service areas efficientlyAbility to lift, carry, or move items up to 50 lbsWork environment may require frequent movement between indoor and event spacesReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilitiesMethod Co., along with its affiliates, is an e qual opportunity employer and is committed to an inclusive workplace free from unlawful discrimination based on race, color, ancestry, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or any other protected characteristic under federal, state or local law.
