We’re looking for a skilled and innovative Senior UI Engineer to join our dynamic team and help shape the user experience of our platform. About the role: As a Senior UI Engineer at Podscribe, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. You will collaborate with our product, design, and backend teams to build features that enhance the overall user experience. This is a key role for someone with a passion for creating seamless and engaging digital experiences who is eager to contribute to the early growth of a startup and grow within the company. Responsibilities: Own the UI: Be the driving force behind our user interface development, creating seamless and engaging experiences that delight our users. Lead Development Efforts: Manage the entire UI development process, ensuring high-quality code and performance optimization. Customer Engagement: Partner with the sales and product teams to conduct product demos, manage inbound leads, and provide custom solutions to our clients' technical questions. Support Business Growth: Assist with outbound lead generation and work closely with customers to craft tailored solutions, handle account setup, and resolve complex issues. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Design Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the design team to translate user needs into intuitive and delightful UI experiences. Performance Optimization: Continuously identify and implement improvements to keep our applications fast, responsive, and scalable. Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and integrating the latest UI/UX trends and technologies, ensuring our platform remains modern and cutting-edge. Qualifications: Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to comfortably engage with a diverse group. UI Engineering Expertise: Proven experience as a UI Engineer or in a similar role, with a robust portfolio that showcases your work. Friendly & Approachable: Able to make others feel at ease, especially in professional settings. Your friendly demeanor is a must! Technical Proficiency: Mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with expertise in modern frameworks like React (and TypeScript), Angular, or Vue.js. We’re looking for a coding wizard ready to tackle challenges head-on with a startup-ready attitude! State Management: Experience with state management libraries like Redux or similar. Responsive Design: A solid understanding of responsive design principles and a keen eye for aesthetic details. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Problem-Solving & Teamwork: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
