Deburring Technician Needed
Job Title: Deburring TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Deburring Technician to join our team for the weekend shift, working Friday through Sunday from 6am to 6:30pm.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate grinding and related tools to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, sharpen edges or corners, or finish or polish metal work pieces.Mount and position tools in machine chucks, spindles, or other tool holding devices using hand tools.Inspect or measure finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as gauges or micrometers.Activate machine start-up switches to grind, lap, deburr, shear, or cut work pieces according to specifications.Lift and position work pieces manually and secure them in hoppers or on machine tables, faceplates, or chucks using clamps.Measure work pieces and lay out work using precision measuring devices.Essential SkillsKnowledge of blueprints, engineering specifications, and CNC machines.Self-motivated and driven to perform at the highest level of quality.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to work well in a fast-paced organization.Additional Skills & QualificationsAerospace industry knowledge is highly desired.High School Diploma or GED.1+ years' experience in aircraft manufacturing.Why Work Here?Join an amazing facility that offers top-notch equipment and a supportive work environment.
