Parts Counter Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in customers seeking diesel truck parts and accessories, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, computer skills, and parts knowledge to support our commitment to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Assist walk-in and phone customers with parts and accessories purchases based on their needs. Learn and utilize our point of sale (POS) and inventory management systems to locate parts quickly and accurately. Process sales transactions using POS systems, handle cash and credit payments, and manage cashiering duties. Collaborate with other team members for order fulfillment, vehicle maintenance, and repair needs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Keep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and order processing. Experience Prior experience in diesel or automotive part counter service is highly desirable. Experience with retail sales and parts management is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems (CMMS), POS systems, and retail math is advantageous. Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Previous experience in parts sales and repair shop environments will be considered an asset.
