Lot Attendant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our team. The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership or retail environment by managing vehicle inventory and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Responsibilities Organize, clean and maintain the vehicle lot, ensuring all vehicles are clean and properly displayed. Assist customers with their inquiries and provide information about vehicles and services. Manage vehicle keys and ensure proper documentation for each vehicle. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good condition. Support the sales team by preparing vehicles for test drives and deliveries. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash registers. Provide valet parking services when required, demonstrating proficiency in manual transmission vehicles. Collaborate with other team members to enhance guest services and overall customer satisfaction. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Experience in cash handling and retail math to ensure accurate financial transactions. Knowledge of dealership operations is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with valet parking procedures and delivery driving experience is a plus. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
