DevOps Engineer
Overview:
In this DevOps role, you design and manage scalable, secure AWS infrastructure and automation to support customer-facing apps and cloud platforms. You’ll partner with software and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments, monitor performance, and resolve production issues. The position focuses on cloud-based operations, IaC, and modern containerized environments to enable reliable, scalable services at scale. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration, security, and production reliability, offering meaningful impact in a global services context.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage scalable, secure AWS infrastructureAutomate deployments and CI/CD pipelinesMonitor system performance and troubleshoot production issuesCollaborate with software and infrastructure engineering teamsProvide production support across environments (prod and non-prod) Address security, high availability, and disaster recovery considerations
Key requirements:
3+ years of hands-on Cloud/DevOps experience with a focus on AWSStrong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatchExperience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation for IaCShell/Bash and Python scripting proficiencyHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologiesExperience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS) Understanding of cloud networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancersExperience supporting end-to-end production and non-production environmentsKnowledge of application/middleware servers and container-based environmentsExperience with monitoring, alerting, metrics, capacity management, instrumentationAbility to troubleshoot deployment/build issues (memory, disk, libraries, certificates, config) Experience with security, IAM, compliance, high availability, and disaster recoveryStrong problem-solving with root-cause analysis for critical issuescollaboration with cross-functional teamsstrong problem-solving abilitieseffective communicationAWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormationShell/Bash and Python scripting
