This position also involves preventative and corrective maintenances in the manufacturing environment. This position requires additional employer provided training, certifications and onboarding time.We look for positive, team-oriented people who can also work independently. Employees' focus on efficiency, quality, continuous improvement and most importantly safety. This position requires strong attention to detail, quick response time and physical endurance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Using hand and air toolsNavigating heavy equipmentConduct basic problem solvingFollow customer safety and quality requirementsAbility to quickly analyze and repair both mechanical and electrical equipmentUnderstand written job instructionsUse mechanical and/or electrical schematic, sketches manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions to troubleshoot and repair equipmentCompleting documentation of repair details as directedAdhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectivelyAll other duties as assigned by Leadec site managementCompetencies:Strong work ethic, good attendance, and team focus.Proficient Customer Service & Communication Skill.Must be able to communicate with team members and management.Adaptability - Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances.Demonstrate sound practices and methodology in the execution of the mechanical and electrical repairs of equipment, as well as any other assigned activitiesProblem Solving - Define problems and bring about viable solutions.Continually search for opportunities to improve onsite activities.Ability to quickly analyze and repair both mechanical issues on equipment.Ability to help train others on necessary skills to perform repairs.Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.Position, Environment & Physical Requirements:The job requires lots of walking. The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work in a wet and closed environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
