Position Overview: The Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of iDrive Logistics. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements. Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Oversee internal and external audits, coordinating with auditors Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Financial Operations Management: Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective financial operations. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial liquidity to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with company goals. Evaluate financial implications of business decisions, investments, and partnerships. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred, Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in NetSuite Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
