This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper storage, and compliance with internal procedures and safety standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain inventory accounts for freezer units and all associated storage areasPerform routine cycle counts and internal inventory audits on a weekly basis or as assignedAccurately label, organize, and store materials in designated locationsMonitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing itemsReport discrepancies, damages, or missing inventory to the Inventory Manager and Purchasing DepartmentMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant receiving and storage areaCoordinate and distribute materials to internal departments as neededSupport inventory tracking and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiencyQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or a related roleBasic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to lift up to 40 lbsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a laboratory environment with sensitive materials (no direct handling of samples)Experience with inventory management systems such as Fishbowl or QuickBooksAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environmentAbout the Organization Access Medical Labs is one of the largest specialty diagnostic labs in the country, using 50% less blood and delivering next-day results.
