Transmission Line Construction Manager About the Role We're looking for a Transmission Line Construction Manager to lead the successful execution of high-voltage transmission projects in the field. In this role, you'll act as the on-site leader and central point of coordination, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You'll serve as the critical link between field operations, contractors, and project leadership-keeping everything aligned and moving forward. What You'll Do Project Leadership Serve as the field lead ("quarterback") for transmission construction projects Coordinate between contractors, project managers, and internal teams Lead kickoff meetings and set clear expectations for project execution Execution & Oversight Monitor daily construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and progress Track project schedules and verify work completion Review drawings, specs, and contract requirements to ensure compliance Stay closely involved in critical activities (outages, crossings, major installs) Safety & Quality Promote and enforce a strong safety culture with zero incident goals Ensure contractor safety plans are understood and followed Conduct site inspections, safety assessments, and quality checks Reduce rework by ensuring work is done right the first time Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate project reporting and documentation Track progress, collect field data, and submit weekly updates Document site activity through reports, photos, and QA/QC records Support contract compliance and potential change orders Team & Resource Coordination Collaborate with: Safety and environmental teams Engineers and subject matter experts Material and logistics teams Land agents and stakeholders Ensure all communication with contractors is clear, organized, and controlled What You Bring Experience in high-voltage transmission line construction (required) Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and regulations Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and contracts Proven ability to manage contractors and field operations Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail in reporting and documentation What Success Looks Like Projects are delivered on schedule and within scope Zero safety incidents on site High-quality work with minimal rework Accurate reporting and strong documentation Strong, productive relationships with contractors and stakeholders Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
