Summary of Position: As a Housekeeper, you will enjoy providing exemplary customer service, by completing tasks efficiently to further enhance the guests experience at the location.
Responsibilities:
Follows detailed duties worksheet assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
Clean check-outs and stay-overs, including changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing according to procedures
Report damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to Management
Notify Management and Maintenance of any repairs
Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
Assist in the unloading of linens (delivered by truck) bi-weekly
Weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned
Other duties as may be assigned
Position Requirements:
Detail oriented
Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
Ability to work independently
Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required.
Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred
Resort/National Park experience preferred
