Social Worker/ Socio Therapist

Masters Level Supervisor. Location: Bronx, NY Position Type: Full-Time/Perm Minimum Qualifications: • Master's degree in social work, mental health, or other related field required; license or LCSW preferred. Key Competencies: • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience required, clinical counseling experience in mental health, victim services, and/or social service fields strongly recommended. • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. • Prior experience providing prevention and intervention services to underserved families affected by intimate partner violence using a trauma-informed, client-centered, anti-oppressive approach preferred. • Knowledge of child development and trauma-informed practice as well as family systems, relational and attachment theories and framework. • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure, relate to families in crisis, and at risk of child placement due to neglect/abuse. • Work experience in community- and neighborhood-based programs. • Ability to work evenings/week as needed and maintain a flexible work schedule. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and management skills.
