An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player with experience doing route deliveries in a semi-truck.Branch: All Tile - CCS in Indianapolis Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-4:30pm, no overnightsResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.Verify loads for accuracy.Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.Perform pre/post-trip inspections.Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.Report defects, accidents, and violations.Communicate and coordinate with dispatch and customer care team on deliveries.Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent degree.Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.Other QualificationsMust have a CDL (Class A) and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.Experience driving a forklift is a plus.Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.Ability to work with details such as vendor item numbers, vendor catalogs, customer lists, phone systems, and ERP software.Ability to learn core computer competencies with general operating systems for orders and related functions.Legally permitted to work in the United States.
