DescriptionSouthern Surgical Arts - Oral | Facial | Dental ImplantsPractice Manager (Oral Surgery) – Tyler, TX AreaMulti-site | High-Volume | Leadership OpportunityLocations: Tyler (primary) + weekly travel to Lindale & PalestineWe are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Practice Manager to lead operations across a thriving, well-established Oral Surgery practice in the Tyler, TX area. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee three high-performing surgeon teams across three locations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Our practice is known for clinical excellence, strong community reputation, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives on driving performance, developing teams, and building efficient, patient-centered operations.Principal Responsibilities IncludeAchieve Practice financial objectives across all three locations for revenue, expense management, and overall profitability; support development and execution of growth goals in partnership with the surgeons and the Regional Director of OperationsDrive outstanding patient care, operational efficiency, and productivity through continuous improvement initiatives and ensure team's execution of business essentials such as strategic scheduling, insurance verification, treatment planning conversion, accurate coding and billing of services.Ensure all fiscal procedures are maintained within company policy, including payer relations, credentialing, revenue cycle management, accounts receivable/payable, and inventory managementMaintain consistent, effective communication with the surgeons on key performance metrics, including indicators of the Practice financial performance, as well as operational needsLead all performance management processes for clinical and non-clinical team members, including coaching, recognition, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessarySupervise all team members while fostering a positive, accountable work environment aligned with the company POWER valuesOwn staffing strategy and labor management, aligning with surgeon schedules to optimize performance and cost efficiencyEnsure appropriate staffing coverage across all locations; oversee onboarding, training, timekeeping, and overtime managementAssess and develop talent at all levels through ongoing coaching, feedback, and structured development plansManage inventory, supplies, instruments, and equipment within budget by providing support and guidance to the Team Leads; ensure preparedness to support an exceptional patient experienceOversee licensure and continuing education compliance for doctors and surgical assistantsSupport the Referral Development Partner(RDP) with marketing initiatives; assist and participate in annual events as neededCoordinate monthly board meetings with the surgeons and RDP; hold monthly meetings with team Leads and staffPerform weekly rotation to the Lindale location and Palestine Location for complete oversight and team accountabilityLead all aspects of compliance, including federal and state regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, I-9, workplace policies), while maintaining strict confidentialityPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare, dental management, and medical/dental insurance protocolsProven ability to drive KPIs, improve operations, and lead high-performing teams Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and operational metricsConfident communicator who can effectively partner with surgeons, leadership, and staffHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesGrowth mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approachProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn Practice Management Systems (DSN Cloud)Associate degree preferred or equivalent professional experienceSalary commensurate with experienceAbout Us Oral Surgery ManagementBy joining US Oral Surgery Management (USOSM), you become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization made up of best-in-class Oral and Maxillofacial practices.
